Dan has been a United Methodist pastor for over 30 years; he has served at EPUMC since 2011.Dan is passionate about helping others to live out their faith in ways that are authentic. Dan is an avid cyclist (that is, bicycle) and wants to be a more avid down hill skier. He is married to Katie, who is also a United Methodist Pastor. They live in Eden Prairie with their dog named Otto and have two adult children living in the Cities.
I’ve always had a passion for children and church and feel strongly that Children’s Ministries should be FUN as well as educational. We know that church attendance is voluntary, so our goal is to create an environment where children WANT to come to church—where they can learn, grow faith and friendships that will be a spiritual foundation for life, and where they feel accepted and loved unconditionally.
Church, family and education are very important to me.I grew up in the church and began teaching Sunday School when I was in high school.
My husband and I are long-time residents of Eden Prairie. We have one daughter and are blessed to have her and her family living close by.
We came to this church when our daughter was young so she would have a church connection with school friends and it quickly became our church home.I began teaching Sunday School and getting involved in planning activities for children. This evolved into my being hired as Children’s Ministries Director which has been a special part of my life for over 20 years. Elisha Mohammed Madoo childcare
My three daughters and I came to Minnesota from the Island of Trinidad In 2004, to live with my husband.
As I love children, I started providing day care services for a living. Some years ago I was hired by the Church to be the day care provider in the nursery. I truly enjoy working with the children and their families, and getting to know those on staff and in the congregation.
Don Prestly Director of worship and music
It has been a joy and a blessing for me to be the Director of Worship & Music at EPUMC since 2002. As Director of the Chancel Choir, Handbell Choir and the Praise Team, I get to work with the many talented and giving singers and musicians in our congregation. I also work closely with Pastor Dan as I select the service music for our worship services, working to make each worship experience one that will be spiritually meaningful for the congregation. From selecting the music group or musicians for each service, to crafting a smooth flowing and connected service is my goal each week. I hope your times of worship with us are spiritually uplifting and fulfilling. Blessings to all, as you join us and experience the love and grace of God at EPUMC!
