      Children were important to Jesus and they are important to our church family. 

Our church is a place where we want children to feel happy, safe, accepted and loved.

SUNDAY MORNING SCHEDULE:

 

- SCHOOL YEAR -            

Two Services:  Sunday School during 9:00 only and child care during each service

- WINTER (Two Services at 9:00 and 10:30) -

- SUMMER  (One Service at 9:30) -

For Sundays in June and July we offer a modified, thematic Sunday School

with two groups (3-5 year and K-4th grade).  

There is always a wide variety of fun activities and stories to help us explore our faith

In August and on some holiday weekends, a video is available for part of the service

for younger children  

 

 

 

N U R S E R Y

 

Hey, is it naptime yet?

 

Nursery child care is provided for children (birth to 3˝). 

Our nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings by our Nursery Coordinator and volunteers.  

It is important to us that our children are greeted with a friendly, caring and familiar 

presence each Sunday

 Please follow correct check in procedures to insure the safety of children

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL

    

 

Sunday School for all ages from preschool through 8th grade is offered during the 

9:00 service.  (See Above)

            Many of our classes are rotation style.  This is a learning environment where

            a Bible story   is taught for 3-5 weeks, with the children rotating to a different

            learning station each week to learn about the story in a different way.  The 

       stations can include:  Art      Music        Science        

            Games       Kitchen       Computer                            

            Drama     Storytelling     Puppets      and Theater      .     

       This has been a very successful and positive approach to learning, based on     

            multiple intelligences.  In addition, the fact that the story is taught over several

            weeks, has meant that the retention and understanding of each story by 

            children is much better. 

            Preschool children stay in the same room, but they also experience the story in   

            different ways in a modified rotation. 

            During the 9:00 service, those in Grade 5-6 and 7-8 have a Sunday School curriculum

            designed around topics of interest to teens and tweens.

CONNECT   CLUB

This special “club” is for 3rd and 4th graders.  We meet twice a month on Wednesday evenings, from 6:30-8:00 (occasionally at other times).  As the name says, we “connect” – to each other, the greater community, God and Christ – through various activities.  We always have fun, learn, and make friends along  the way!

Vacation Bible School - 2013

 

EVERYWHERE FUN FAIR

Where God’s World Comes Together

WHEN:        June 24-28, 2013

TIME:           9:00-12:00 Noon

WHO:          ANY child age 3 through those who have completed 6th grade the spring of 2013

WHAT:        Join us as we visit the fair AND several countries around the world to learn about

                    loving God and loving others through stories, puppets, music, crafts, games, and

                    snacks.  You will have a “fun fair” time!!!

COST:         $25 for 1 child, $50 for 2 children or $60 for 3+ children in one family.

        Scholarships available, just ask!   Also, new children can come as our guests!

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  June 1, 2013
