Right now we are in the middle of a unit on creation. Through kitchen, computer, art, theater and science we are exploring this wonderful story of God’s creation of the world. Next we will have a unit on Advent and Christmas--learning of giving and the greatest gift of love, God’s son, Jesus.

Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes

Again this year we are collecting shoeboxes for OCC. You can fill a box with lots of little treasures to bring a smile to a child in another part of the world that would otherwise have nothing on Christmas morning. Please pick up a sheet of information on our Children’s Ministries table by the office or go online to Operation Christmas Child. Boxes need to be here at church no later than November 13. THANKS!!

Advent Celebration

On November 27, from 4:30-6:30 P.M. please join us for a special time of fun and fellowship to begin this wonderful season of Advent! We will have lots of crafts from simple to more advanced, and end with a pizza supper and caroling. Cost is $12.00/family or $4.00/adult and $3.00/child for supper and $5.00/family to help cover craft supplies. Everyone—young and old—is invited! Sign up on the poster in the Narthex or call Deb Soderholm, 952-828-9515.

Note: We can use help supervising craft tables at the Advent Celebration on Nov 27. Please call Deb Soderholm or sign up on the Children’s Ministries table by the office if you can help. THANKS!!!
